REloved Bedroom End Table

Finally finished REloving this end table painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg Blue with dark wax.  As you can see, I've left the top it's natural color, per the clients request.  I think it adds so much depth and richness!!!  I'm also REloving a matching dresser and mirror in Old White, and distressed with clear wax.  Stay tuned for the finished product!

REloved Magazine Holder for a birthday gift.

A friend of mine asked me to RElove this old magazine holder for her mother's birthday.  She told her mother it had been thrown away when her mom had asked where it was.  Her mother was heartbroken, as it has been in their family for over 50 years.  When she then gave it to her mother after I had REloved it, she said her mom and dad both cried.  That is why I love doing this.  It is painted and distressed with Duck Egg Blue Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan.

Do you have an old piece that you have thought about throwing away or wishing it were in better repair?

Changing the color of a painted shelf with wax.

This is a picture of two different shelves that are both painted in the same color, however, one is  finished with a clear wax, and the other with a dark wax.  I love how you can completely change the look by the color of wax you use.  Again, this is painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.  The color is Cream.  The shelf on the left is with clear wax and the one on the right is dark wax.  After I finished painting them, I asked two of my daughters which one they liked the best.

Antique Table with 4 Chairs

I'm REloving this antique table and chairs to help a dear friend of mine that will be spending the next year or more in Ghana Africa to help girls that have been rescued from slave trade.  The organization is called Eight Oaks.  I'm not sure of the Era of the table, but it does have wooden wheels and is in wonderful condition.   The details on the pedestal of the table are fabulous!!!  If you are interested, please message me, and I can give you more details.  I will not be starting on this until tomorrow, so if you message me, you can let me know what color you would like.  Thanks so much for all your support.  Stay tuned for more REloved furniture that needs a loving home:)

Antique dresser with mirror painted with Duck Egg Blue chalk paint

OK...This one is my favorite, so far.  Found this beauty on Craigs List and instantly fell in love with it.  I have been wanting to use Annie Salon's Duck Egg Blue chalk paint because I've heard so many positive things about it.  I decided to use it on this dresser.  This one will be hard for me to let go of, but let me know if you are interested:)  My house is beginning to look like an antique store.

A friend of mine told me about an auction last weekend.  I've never been to an auction, but when she told me there was a lot of antique furniture, I was on my way.  Now, let me tell you, my husband and son were on a fishing trip, and the only car I was left with was my son's jeep which, by the way, had no doors.  However, I didn't let that stop me.  When I got there I instantly thought "my husband is going to kill me."  I got my bid number and away I went.  Have you ever been to an auction?  Oh my goodness, I was in heaven.  Needless to say, by the end of the day the auctioneer had my bid number memorized.  My new lucky number is 300:)  While I was bidding away, I suddenly became aware of the vehicle I had with me, and became frantic.....Lucky for me, I have some EXTREMELY good friends that live about 5 miles away and yes.....they have a trailer but more importantly a barn in which to store all my lucky "300 " new items. I have one month to finish all my new treasures.  Stay tuned for lots of REloved All Things Shabby furniture.
