As usual it depends on the size of the piece and how much work is required. An average side table or nightstand should cost around $100. A large piece like a dining room table can be closer to the $500 range. It really depends on the size and condition of the piece. A piece that requires a lot of sanding and prep work will be more. Bookcases and armories will likely be closer to $600. Remember, the paint and any hardware purchased will cost extra. All the rave right now is to "age" a piece of furniture by distressing it. Any piece distressed, or aged, will be an additional 15% to the total cost.

It will always depend on how much detail the cabinet's have and how much prep work is required, but you can expect to pay around $25 a cabinet. Remember that the paint and any new hardware purchased will cost extra, and distressing will be an additional 15% to the total cost.
